Leanne and Chris – Engagement

Sometimes photosessions can be an adventure.   Chris invited me to Jemison Alabama to shoot the engagement session at the hunting lodge used by him and his family.  I was thankful for the 4×4 truck because otherwise, we would have had quite a bit of walking.

It kind of reminded me of the days when I used to take my shotgun into the woods in hopes of bringing home dinner.   Out of the dozens of hunting trips I’ve been on,  the only thing I’ve brought out of the woods was chiggers and poison oak.    At one point during the day,  we saw three wild Turkeys in flight.   And as always,  I was too slow to take a shot at them.

Good thing I had a little better luck with the camera.    I was awfully proud of the shots I brought home with it.

Leanne - Hey Mark! These are so pretty! Thank you!
Leanne

Brad Ross Photography - Modern, creative and beautiful. Great work.

Vida - AHH! Such a great location, you really rocked it! They look so in love :]

RaShea - I’ve got to say that my favorite is the ring shot with them kissing in the background. Stunning and very unique. I love it! You rock Mark!

Phillip Allen - Fantastic work Mark, in particular the third image down, the black & white photograph of her engagement rings. Honestly that’s about the most evocative photograph of a ring I’ve yet seen! It’s like a moment from an epic film and it speaks of what the ring truly represents.

Melissa Shelby - Beautiful collection! Love that shot through the doorway and the last one with the sun peaking over his shoulder! The ring shot is perfect.

William Bay - Love the black and whites from this series. Good job.
