I’m so excited about Jason and Kayla’s wedding coming up in a few weeks. What a fun couple! They seem to be made for each other. We got to spend a few ours getting to know each other and taking a few photos. I’m really happy with the way they turned out! Congratulations guys! See you in a few weeks! No not Senior Citizen!!   I’m proud to say that starting today,  we will be offering photosessions for high school seniors.     Whitney was our first guinea pig valued client!! Thanks Whitney! Now I just have to decide if “MarksBrides.com” is the appropriate place for these photos… I may see a new website in my future!!

Fell in the creek and almost drowned my favorite camera!! Whew!! It was worth the risk!

Scott and Jessica had a wonderful wedding at Hargis Retreat in Chelsea Alabama.     Congratulations guys!!   I have really enjoyed getting to know you and wish you all the luck in the world!!      John Elrod assisted me in shooting the wedding and he got some fantastic shots too!!

Kristin and Wesley had a truly unique wedding with a TRAIN theme! The festivities began at the Heart of Dixie Train Museum in Calera. From there the guests boarded an antique train and traveled to Ozan Winery. At the winery we had a lovely ceremony performed my my dear wife Carol ( Helena Wedding Chapel ).    After the ceremeny,  the train returned the guests safely back to the museum where a reception was waiting.   What a wonderful day!!     After Kristin and Wesley returned from their honeymoon we had a blast doing a day after photoshoot!!  Be sure to check out the slideshow!

What a privilege to be able to document an incredible wedding of a couple who are so in love.    Beautiful weather, a great couple and awesome bridal party.  Thanks Tai and Johnathan for a great time. What an awesome day! Mark and Cynthia met me at Sloss furnace to start their photo session. Although I’m very familiar with Sloss (since I’ve shot their so many times), Cynthia proved to have a very creative eye. She visualized interesting shots that had escaped me. I really love the shot through the dirty window with a missing pane.

We continued our adventure by heading over to the Botanical Gardens. When we arrived, we discovered that “Earth Day” had brought a huge crowd. We had a little trouble finding a secluded spot . . . But when we did, Mark jumped right in!! Awesome photo of a roll in the clover.

Morris Avenue and Vulcan Park completed our adventure. Thanks for a fun day guys!! I’m really looking forward to the wedding!

Kathryn and Zach finally tied the knot in a lovely ceremony at Ozan Winery in Calera Alabama.    The setting was beautiful,  decorations were outstanding, and the bride and groom were absolutely stunning.   This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve experienced.   Looking forward to an incredible fearless bridal session with Kathryn in the near future.  Special thanks to Tracy at Southern Events for helping to make the day perfect.   Their slideshow is one you will not want to miss.  Thanks guys!!!
